As we approach a new season, you may find yourself struggling with low energy levels and mood swings. To help you feel better, I have compiled a list of the most effective wellbeing tips that I personally use and have tested over time. These tips are guaranteed to improve your mood and make you feel better. So why not give them a try and enjoy the beauty of this upcoming season?
Eat Seasonal Food
Eat seasonal food like Italians do. It's a nature-inspired approach. In the autumn, you can get the best that nature has to offer, like fruits such as apples and pears. You should include all green vegetables in your diet, such as beetroot, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, spinach, kale, and leeks. Don’t forget everyone’s favourite potatoes and of course squash! It's better to avoid fresh salads and opt for hot squash soup or mixed steamed veggies instead.
Have you ever tried cooking artichokes the Italian way? It involves trimming the outer leaves, base, and exterior of the stem before cooking the whole artichoke. Many people would throw off the stalk while Italians believe that it is the most delicious part of this vegetable.

Try Seasonal Detoxification
Detoxifying or cleansing your body seasonally can be highly beneficial for your digestion and mood. To achieve this, you can try having vegetable smoothies on a daily basis - an excellent way to prepare your body for the upcoming season. It is recommended to use mainly green vegetables, and seasonal fruits such as apples and pears. Avocado is also an irreplaceable ingredient for autumn smoothies as it is rich in vitamin C. It is an essential nutrient that helps boost your immunity and prepare your body for the changing seasons.

Warm Up
Get up at 7 am, while the world is still asleep. If you are fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of the sun, sit down in a way that allows the sun to warm up your spine. Wear a sun hat to protect your head and let your spine soak in the sunshine. This method is an incredible remedy for many illnesses such as back pain, ear infections, and varicose veins. Moreover, it has a positive effect on diabetes, mental disorders, and paralysis. Continue your day with alternate nostril breathing, standing yoga poses, and a cup of herbal tea to calm your mind and balance your thoughts.

Get Some Vits and Stretch Your Legs
As the amount of sunlight and heat decreases, it can cause a dip in your mood. To counter this, you can boost your vitamin D intake and plan some physical activities. You can choose any sport that you prefer or simply take a walk in nature. Have you ever considered gardening? It's a great way to get some exercise and try out your green fingers!
Even though it may be considered a luxury in today's fast-paced world, it is essential to practice slow living whenever possible. Take a moment to sit, relax, and observe the world around you. This practice has a powerful destressing effect on both the mind and body. Mindful meditative practices can be added to enhance the benefits of slowing down.
And finally, why not declutter your home? Get rid of everything that you don’t need. Just give it away. Don’t let piles of unnecessary items block the free flow of energy in your home.
